Joe Bannister

What happens when you swear an oath to uphold the law in the service of an organization who acts like it is above it? Ex-IRS agent Joe Bannister was a CPA who decided to try public service by working for the IRS. Research that he did on his own led him to believe that the income tax is enforced illegally. Going to his superiors with his research led to an invitation for his resignation a week later. The story isn't over, the government has gone after him for vocalizing the research that he has done.
